Israel update part two

So the next thing we did is go to the city of David to visit the Tomb of David. We took a walk from the center of town to the old city and we walked around the outside of the old city. We actually took a bit of time and a slow walk to find the City of David and eventually his Tomb. We then went to see the first holocaust museum in Israel which was just over the road. This was again very emotional and we saw some things that were not at Yad VaShem.
the next day we took a trip up to Rannana. We met Tessa at the bus station, and she gave us a great tour of Rannana, with a delicious lunch. We also went to the marina to see the boats and then we went back to the train station.
On the 28th we went to the train station to head to the conference. Once we arrived we checked in and went straight to the unions fair.
from there the conference went into full swing, with all the parties, talks and workshops.
on the Friday we went on a tour of Zichron Ya'acov and a tour of the winery which was very interesting and we ended it off with a good lunch.
then next trip we took was to our leadership development program (LDP). We were based in Jerusalem at the Ariel hotel. There were days where we never even saw the sun. It was a very intense program, but was very educational and productive for SAUJS and for me.
the next week we were based in Jerusalem in the Jerusalem hostel in the middle of town. We went to the Israel museum and the tower of David museum which was very interesting and was basically a time line of the history of Jerusalem.
